Activity description

Starting a lovely sightseeing we will have your first stop at the mountaintop of Profitis Ilias. Profitis Ilias is the highest point of the island and provides a magnificent panoramic view of Santorini. Apart from the photo-stop we will have at the top of the mountain, we will also get a chance to see up close a very traditional peaceful and quite monastery, the monastery of Profitis Ilias.
The next stop of the tour is the famous Red Beach. The red Beach is a result of the eruption of the Volcano of Thira and a unique chance to a sight overlooking a rare phenomenon- a naturally red colored beach. During this stop we will have time for a small stop for pictures from a genuinely nice spot on the cliffs above the Red Beach as descending is prohibited for safety reasons.
Following our program, we will pass from the Village of Perissa and Perissa Beach which is one of the most famous Beaches of the island.
Oia will be our next stop, the northeast part of the island, one of the most photographed places of Santorini and an amazing picturesque scenery. Here you will have the chance to walk around the small alleys, see the Old Fortress at the edge of the village and enjoy some luxurious views overlooking the Caldera Cliffside and the Aegean Sea.
At the end of our tour, we will visit the famous local winery located at the top of the cliffside where we will taste different kinds of local wines but also get the insights about the winemaking tradition on the island and the different varieties of the local production. In respect to individual preferences we have not included the wine tasting in the tour so that you feel free to choose from a variety of products that are offered in the venue on your own.
