Our hike starts from Monodentri village, and "dives" into the deep gorge. For a while we hike downhill, and eventually we are next to the riverbed, where we follow the path, admiring the amazing wild beauty of the cliffs rising above us.
Walking carefully, we approach the river bed after a few hours we meet the springs of Voidomatis, one of the cleanest rivers in Europe.
Finally we ascent to the small village of Vikos, and an amazing scenary reveals itself as we hike uphill.
A minivan waits for us and returns us back to Monodentri
