Overview
The walking route starts from the picturesque Plaka, the capital of the island. We walk among the stone streets of the village and discover the attached houses with small yards.
We continue to the great church of Panagia Korfiatisa with the amazing view of the bay of Milos.
We cross the village walking on the ancient path that descends to Klima. Beautiful vegetation and colors on our way where we arrive above the old town.
There we find the unique cruciform baptistery of the 5th century. Next to us is the area where the statue of Aphrodite was found, the ancient stadium, the Ancient Roman theatre and the catacombs. (The stop at catacombs is included only in the extented itinerary)
After visiting the catacombs, we continue down the ancient road to the ancient port of the island, Klima.
